Job summary
RoviSys is seeking an Automation Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for life sciences facilities. The role emphasizes Rockwell platforms, BMS and skid system integration, and GMP/compliance-driven validation.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on Rockwell experience (ControlLogix/FactoryTalk), BMS familiarity, and a strong focus on process control and environmental monitoring within a GMP context.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of automation engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Rockwell Automation products (RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View).
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and skid systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy automation systems using Rockwell platforms.
- Configure and integrate BMS and skid systems for life sciences facilities.
- Implement and manage ThinManager for centralized thin client management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and validation to meet GMP/regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Document design, manuals, and validation protocols.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance automation strategies.
