Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking an Automation Engineer for GMP computerized automation systems in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will work hands-on with Rockwell and/or Siemens PLC/SCADA and ensure data integrity, validation, and GAMP 5 compliance.

Responsibilities include lifecycle compliance, CSC activities, change controls, CAPAs, audits support, and collaboration with QA, Manufacturing, Validation, IT, and vendors. Immediate start in Singapore.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or related field
5–8 years’ experience maintaining process equipment in Pharma
Hands-on PLC/SCADA experience with sterile manufacturing equipment
Solid knowledge of validation, GMP, and maintenance in regulated environments
Experience with Maximo, TrackWise, Kneat is a plus
Ability to work in fast-paced, highly regulated settings
Strong planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordination skills
Good communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

Ensure GMP computerized systems remain compliant throughout lifecycle
Perform CSC activities: user access management, alarm reviews, audit trail reviews
Manage deviations, change controls, and CAPAs for computerized systems
Conduct risk assessments for changes; support regulatory inspections and audits
Maintain documentation and cybersecurity controls for GMP automation systems
Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Validation, IT, and vendors
Participate in qualification, validation, and periodic reviews per GAMP 5
Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
