Job summary

Neste Singapore Refinery is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to manage lifecycle integrity of automation and control systems, ensuring high reliability and cost effectiveness in the Tuas Refinery. You will collaborate with Operations, Process Controls, and Safety to monitor defects, plan improvements, support turnarounds, and lead root cause analyses of automation issues.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 5 years in automation and control systems.
Experience with Emerson Delta-V DCS and Siemens S7 PLC.
Strong hardware engineering, panel design and network skills.

Responsibilities

Provide automation and control systems support for safe, reliable operations.
Singapore refinery engineering contact for Maintenance and Operations on complex automation.
Act as technical authority for automation, control systems and cyber-security matters.
Lead lifecycle management of PCS (Emerson Delta-V/Valmet) and SIS technologies.
Develop and manage maintenance programs and preventive/predictive plans.
Ensure documentation, handover, and project execution quality.
Lead root-cause analyses and improvement discussions.
Collaborate with Process Control and E&I on verification tests.
