Job summary

AVANTSI SEMITECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design and develop electrical and control systems for advanced semiconductor equipment.

You will develop schematics and control panels, implement PID temperature control, and lead system integration across disciplines. You should have 10+ years in semiconductor automation, strong PLC/motion control experience, and proficiency with EPLAN/AutoCAD Electrical and fieldbus protocols; willingness to support overseas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, or precision machinery.
• Strong experience in PLC, motion control, servo systems, and machine automation.
• Proficient with EPLAN/AutoCAD Electrical and industrial protocols such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP or Profinet.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and control systems for advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Develop electrical schematics, control panels, wiring, safety circuits, PLC and HMI systems.
• Develop servo motion control, multi-axis synchronization, and machine automation.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, vision systems, barcode/RFID, industrial PCs, and fieldbus devices.
• Develop heater and temperature control systems, including PID control.
• Lead system integration, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Process, and Manufacturing teams.
• Support equipment commissioning and overseas projects when required.
