Job summary

Optiver in Singapore is seeking a Trading Supervisor to be the first responder to incidents and drive resolution while communicating updates to stakeholders. You will monitor automated trading systems across markets, assess live trading for issues, and work with risk managers, traders, engineers, brokers, and exchanges to resolve problems in real time.

The role requires 5+ years in trade supervision or related fields, knowledge of exchange rules, and proficiency in Python and Linux.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a Trade Supervision, Trading, Risk, Application Engineering, or similar role.
• Prior trading exposure across asset classes and strategies is highly desirable.
• Understanding of exchange-specific rules and procedures.
• Excellent communication, project management and time management skills.
• Solid experience with high-frequency automated trading strategies preferred.
• Experience with Python, Linux command line and the ability to extract and manipulate large data sets preferred.
• Full Singapore working rights essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor automated trading systems across multiple markets.
• Assess live trading for issues (risk, compliance, production) and respond quickly to anomalies.
• Alert key staff of intraday issues and collaborate with engineers, brokers, and exchanges to resolve problems in real time.
• Document procedures and log production issues as they occur.
