Job summary

CapitaLand is seeking a Senior Attendant, Housekeeping to perform daily cleaning and oversee residents' homes in line with our established procedures. You will report to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Housekeeping.

Responsibilities include cleaning and inspecting apartments, checking inventories with residents at check-in and check-out, ensuring cleanliness and proper amenities, reporting losses, training outsourced attendants, and supervising their performance.

• Clean and inspect an allocated number of apartments set by the Supervisor, Housekeeping
• Check through the apartment's inventories with residents upon check-in and check-out
• Ensure that cleanliness, proper amenities and literature placement are met according to working procedures and standards
• Report any loss and damage to linen, furniture, fixtures and equipment to the Supervisor, Housekeeping or the Engineering Department
• Assist to train outsourced room attendants in housekeeping procedures and standards
• Oversee the performance of your assigned outsourced room attendants
• Provide support in daily operations by: replenishing supplies, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition, attending to residents’ requests, updating status of apartments, managing linens and uniforms, and ensuring laundry contractor meets cleanliness standards and deadlines

You will perform daily cleaning and oversee the cleanliness of our residents' homes in accordance with our established procedures and guidelines. You will report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Clean and inspect an allocated number of apartments set by the Supervisor, Housekeeping
• Check through the apartment's inventories with residents upon check-in and check-out
• Ensure that cleanliness, proper amenities and literature placement are met according to working procedures and standards
• Report any loss and damage to linen, furniture, fixtures and equipment to the Supervisor, Housekeeping or the Engineering Department
• Assist to train outsourced room attendants in housekeeping procedures and standards
• Oversee the performance of your assigned outsourced room attendants
• Provide support in daily operations by:
  • Replenishing supplies (Eg; drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom items)
  • Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition
  • Attending to residents’ requests
  • Update status of apartments
  • Manage the storing and issuance of linens and uniforms
  • Ensure that the laundry contractor meets cleanliness standards and deadlines
  • Sort, count and record the number of linens and soiled articles
  • Examine laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability
  • Perform related tasks as assigned
