Job summary

State Street in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Associate to join our Real Asset Fund Administration team within the AIS division. You will manage offshore teams, ensure client deadlines, and prepare financial statements for real estate/private equity funds.

Reliable knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with Investran or Oracle is beneficial. CPA or pursuing CPA is preferred; fluency in English is required with Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience including Real Estate or Private Equity Fund Accounting.
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin is a plus.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• College degree in business/finance/economics/mathematics; accounting concentration a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Investran or Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage deliverables from an offshore team by reviewing their bookkeeping work.
• Manage internal workflow to meet client deadlines.
• Prepare financial statements, work papers, portfolio schedules, accruals and capital allocations.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax return preparation with external firms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor offshore teams.
• Communicate with clients, fund investors and investment professionals to ensure quality service.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Identify unusual or potentially suspicious transactions and report per policy.
• Support new business integration and ensure operating models deliver best-in-class service.
• Perform period bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly management reports for clients.
• Participate in special client or internal projects.
