Senior Associate, Real Asset Fund Accounting

Job summary

State Street in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Associate to join our Real Asset Fund Administration team within AIS. This role offers exposure to a global leader delivering services to sophisticated institutions and requires solid accounting expertise in Real Estate or Private Equity funds.

You will manage offshore deliverables, coordinate audits, prepare financial statements, mentor junior staff, and ensure client deadlines are met while upholding corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience including in Real Estate or Private Equity Fund Accounting.
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin is a plus.
• CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA.
• College degree in business/math/finance/economics; accounting concentration a plus.
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Investran or Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage deliverables from an offshore team by actively engaging and reviewing their bookkeeping work.
• Manage internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deadlines are met.
• Prepare financial statements including financial work papers, portfolio schedules, accruals and partner capital allocations.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax return preparation with external accounting firms.
• Be a source of technical support and guidance to offshore teams, mentor and upskill staff.
