Job summary

Airwallex Singapore is seeking aSenior Associate, Global Expansion in the CEO Office to own end-to-end expansion across APAC, from market-entry strategy to licensing and product readiness.

You will collaborate with executive leadership to tackle regulatory, product, and operating challenges, shaping the local financial platform and preparing for scale, with hands-on execution in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting or expansion roles in fintech or payments.
• Proven track record owning end-to-end, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Strong operating discipline: governance cadences, cross-functional dependencies, timely decisions.
• Experience with regulatory and licensing topics in financial services.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day work with good verification judgment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication.
• High ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity in fast-paced launches.

Responsibilities

• Own new country expansion strategy across APAC: size opportunity, select markets, define what it takes to win.
• Design the market entry model: licensing path, entity structure, commercial model per market.
• Shape the product roadmap: translate requirements into concrete scope and sequencing.
• Drive executive decisions: present market prioritization and launch readiness to leadership.
• Build the operating system for launches: create templates, dashboards, and automation for market entry.
• Run governance: go/no-go and launch-readiness with cross-functional sign-offs.
• Support other CEO Office initiatives such as strategic reviews or cross-market structuring.
