Job summary

TALENT LEGAL GLOBAL SEARCH CONSULTANCY (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a finance lawyer admitted to the Singapore Bar or England & Wales with experience in banking, project and asset finance.

The role covers drafting and negotiating complex financing documents and providing strategic legal advice across Asia-Pacific regions. You will handle cross-border transactions, conduct rigorous legal research, and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance practice preferred
• Excellent communication and client relations

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and structure complex financing agreements and leasing documentation
• Provide legal advice to clients and negotiate terms for transaction documents
• Manage cross-border marine finance, general banking, and project finance deals in APAC
• Conduct deep legal research to support regional transactions
• Participate in business development events and contribute to growth of the practice

Job description

Responsibilities:

The successful incumbent will be involved in a broad range of financing work, including Banking Finance, Project and Asset Finance.

• Involved in drafting, reviewing and structuring of complex financing agreements and leasing documentation
• Provide legal advice to a wide range of clients, and partake in negotiating terms for transaction documents
• Manage cross-border marine finance, general banking, and project finance deals across the Asia-Pacific region
• Conduct deep legal research to support complex, high-profile regional transactions
• Participate in business development events and contribute to the growth of the practice

Requirements:

• Admitted to Singapore Bar and/or England & Wales law jurisdiction
• Experience in the Finance practice gained in another International or Top/Well-established local law firm ideally
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike
• Professional and hold strong passion in doing financing work
