Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled technician to lead high-precision assembly, integration and testing of complex equipment modules in a production environment.

You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, analyze MES data, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience, a technical diploma, and the ability to guide junior team members across rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma: Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in equipment assembly, manufacturing or production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, diagnostics and precision assembly.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and ability to drive improvements.
• Capable of guiding junior members and rotating shifts across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-precision assembly, integration and testing of complex modules/systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, vacuum and pneumatic issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and improve assembly processes, work instructions and testing procedures.
• Support new product introductions, process validation, and ensure safety compliance.

5 or 6 days per week (depending on shift arrangement)

Working Hours

• Shift 1: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
• Shift 2: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• Shift 3: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Responsibilities

• Lead high-precision assembly, integration and testing of complex equipment modules and systems to meet production and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, vacuum and pneumatic system issues, implementing effective corrective actions to minimize production disruptions.
• Review and improve assembly processes, work instructions and testing procedures while analyzing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) data to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes and process validation while providing technical guidance to junior team members and ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.

Skills/Experience Required

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in equipment assembly, manufacturing, production engineering or a related technical environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting and precision equipment assembly.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to guide junior team members, collaborate across functions and work on assigned rotating shifts.
