Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Accountant to lead monthly closes, ensure IFRS compliance, and manage grant accounting. You will coordinate with auditors and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial statements across periods.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of experience, advanced Excel, VBA, and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau to craft data-driven narratives for action.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Numerate, meticulous and analytical to deliver succinct, visually engaging narratives and plans for action.
• Strong sense of business acumen and ability to engage stakeholders to deliver improvements.
• Experience with financial systems and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, VBA, Power BI/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing process accuracy and timeliness.
• Address statutory reporting and IFRS requirements.
• Lead grant management, ensuring grant accounts comply with policies.
• Participate in budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Manage operational finance processes including accruals and purchase requisitions.
• Assist in new processes and system implementation as required.

• Ensure accurate and smooth monthly closing process in line with organization's requirements
• Address statutory reporting and audit requirements; ensuring that financials meet latest IFRS requirements
• Lead, monitor and review the grant management process, ensuring accuracy of grant accounts and compliance with policies and accounting standards
• Participate in the budgeting and rolling forecast processes
• Manage respective operational finance processes such as:
  1. Operational expenditure including accruals
  2. Purchase requisition and orders
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
• Ensure a strong culture of corporate governance by working closely with internal and external auditors and partnering stakeholders to close audit issues promptly

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
• Numerate, meticulous and possesses analytical aptitudes to make sense of complex data from multiple sources to deliver succinct but visually engaging narratives and plans for action
• Strong sense of business acumen and ability to engage stakeholders to deliver on improvement outcomes
• Experience with financial systems, Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel (advanced), VBA Macros, PowerPoint and Word, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
