Job summary

ENG SOON HENG TRADING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will manage month-end and year-end closings, oversee budgeting and cash flow, and coordinate with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-5 years of accounting/finance experience, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
• Familiar with budgeting, cash flow management, tax, and audit processes.
• Proficient in Excel and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial transactions.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and external parties.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Review and improve financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Supervise and support the accounting team.
• Provide financial information and analysis to management for decision-making.
• Handle other finance and accounting matters as required.
