Job summary

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore seeks a proactive Sr Asst Manager in Corporate Communications to drive media engagement, branding, and public education initiatives. You will plan and implement programmes, manage stakeholder relations, and support events with strong written and spoken English.

You will collaborate across departments to promote IMH’s mission, raise awareness of mental health, and contribute to recruitment efforts through branding and strategic communication

Qualifications

• A good degree in Communications or related discipline with 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Excel and Word). Knowledge of statistics is advantageous.
• Proficient in design tools and video editing software (e.g. Canva, CapCut) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an outgoing personality and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Good written English skills; proficiency in a second language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement corporate communications programmes, including media publicity, branding, public education and outreach, and internal communication.
• Manage media engagement, cultivate stakeholder relationships, develop messaging and narratives, identify media opportunities, pitch stories and work with the mainstream media.
• Support IMH departments for internal and external events and patient/public communication initiatives, including planning, logistics and publicity plans.
• Contribute to branding projects and campaigns to support business strategy, recruitment efforts and consistent branding across assets.
