Job summary

JobAlly in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to assist the Finance team in maintaining a complete set of accounts, including billing, receivables, payables, fixed assets, and month-end or year-end finalisation. The role supports the preparation of trial balance and basic financial statements and participates in finance-related projects and system testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Accountancy.
At least 5 years of relevant Accounting experience.
Working knowledge of SAP B1 (good to have).
Independent and ability to manage work with minimal supervision.
Detailed and meticulous.
High proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

Handle billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, account reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Submit claims to government and other grant agencies.
Ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal.
Interact with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and analysis. Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
Prepare GST reports and GST reconciliation.
Manage fixed asset accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Any other adhoc duties as assigned.
