Job summary
Innova Digital Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced AS400 Developer to design, develop, and maintain IBM iSeries applications using RPG, RPGLE, CLP/CLLE, SQL and DB2.
You will analyze requirements, implement solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in code reviews and deployment activities. Experience in Core Banking or Payments is a plus; banking apps and SDLC rigor are valued.
Qualifications
- Hands-on AS400 development experience.
- Proficient in RPG, RPGLE, CLP/CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
- Experience with Query/400, SDA, PDM, SEU, and RDi.
- Strong SQL and database design knowledge.
- Experience in application support and production support.
- Solid SDLC understanding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM AS400 (iSeries) platform.
- Develop and enhance programs using RPG, RPGLE, ILE RPG, CL, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure application performance, stability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Support application modernization and system enhancement initiatives.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain development standards.
