Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned AS400 specialist to analyse, develop, and support banking applications in Singapore.

You will work on requirements, design mappings, technical specs, coding, reviews, and deployment, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. The role requires 5+ years in AS400 within banking, with strong skills in RPG, iSeries, SQL, JavaScript, React, and DB2/Oracle ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in AS400 in banking Institution.
• Proficient in RPG, AS400 iSeries, SQL, CLLE, Aldon Lifecycle Manager and debugging tools such as STRDBG
• Good experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React JS, Jest, Node.js, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, test applications.
• The primary work comprises of requirement analysis, mapping design, technical specification, programming, code review, job scheduling, perform unit test and SIT, support UAT, deploy to production, post implementation support, and technical documentation.
• Responsible, the works are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
• Work with senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions.
• The solution will be required to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.
