Job summary

JGP Architecture (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced architect to lead design development, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage on-site construction in housing projects. You will coordinate with project teams to deliver quality detailing and timely outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a recognized degree, has 8+ years of experience, and demonstrates strong English communication, leadership, and independent working capabilities for complex projects including HDB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural working experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English for clear project coordination.
• Passion for design, commitment to continuous learning, and innovation in architectural solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Capability to supervise and manage project teams.
• Familiarity with Housing & Development Board (HDB) projects.
• Experience with contract administration using SIA/PSSCOC forms of contract.
• Good technical knowledge and strong detailing capability in architectural practice.
• Familiarity with prevailing regulations and codes governing construction and architectural practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure architectural designs comply with all statutory requirements to meet regulatory standards
• Manage the full design development process to deliver project objectives on time and within scope
• Execute tender procurement processes to secure qualified contractors and suppliers
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards
• Procure statutory compliance documentation for TOP and CSC
• Monitor defect rectification and oversee final project certification to ensure completion standards are met
