Job summary

Park + Associates Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced architect to lead design development from concept through construction documentation. You will research regulatory requirements, brainstorm ideas, and develop initial designs that comply with codes while reflecting clients' visions.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of architecture experience (local or overseas).
Strong passion for architecture, interior architecture and interior design.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit and PowerPoint.
Excellent knowledge of colours and materials selection.
Proactive, conscientious team player with strong portfolio.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-design research on regulatory requirements.
Develop initial design and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare outline specifications to determine preferred materials, quality and construction method.
Develop all spaces in detail (exterior, interior, landscape).
Create Sketchup models in accordance to exact specifications.
Conduct site inspections to ensure design intent is adhered to.
Troubleshoot design problems and assist with ad hoc changes.
Understand and analyse design flaws and defects arising from design.
