Job summary

SAP Singapore is seeking a Technical Lead within the Applied AI Builders pod to shape agentic systems, supervise Claude-style generators, and drive end-to-end AI engineering from problem framing to deployment. You will partner with product and platform teams, and continuously learn SAP technologies as you build robust, scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 6 - 9 years of end-to-end experience building agentic systems, production-grade RAG, and evaluation frameworks.
• Supervise Claude-style generators at the architecture level, spotting brittle abstractions or wrong design choices and explaining why.
• Stack-fluid, with SAP BTP exposure (Kyma, CAP, HANA Cloud, kernel services, CPI/destination services).
• Ontology or knowledge-graph experience is a plus.
• Learning agility — rapidly pick up new models, SAP technologies, ontologies, and industry processes and adapt.
• Bias for action — move quickly from ambiguity to a working prototype and learn through execution.
• Critical thinking — ask the right questions to stay focused on the objective.
• End-to-end ownership — own the outcome from problem definition through build, deployment, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Shaping patterns and standards, partnering with product and platform teams, and helping others learn how to work effectively with AI coding and brainstorming tools.
• Supervise Claude-style code generators and AI brainstormers, and provide architectural guidance.
• Build prototypes-to-production and scale what proves valuable in collaboration with platform and product teams.
• Design multi-agent workflows and ontology-grounded agents, and build eval frameworks to prove improvements over prompt/MCP-based approaches.
• Join Applied AI Builders pod and contribute to frontier AI-native engineering initiatives.
