Job summary

Aster Bukom Chemicals & Energy Complex in Singapore is seeking a Senior Process Control Engineer to deliver Advanced Process Control (APC) and digitalization solutions across refinery and chemical operations. The role focuses on safety, energy efficiency, and product optimization, evaluating emerging technologies including AI/ML to maximize operational data value.

You will provide digitalization leadership, collaborate with APC engineers and IT, manage projects, and build internal capabilities

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Process Engineering and APC optimization in oil & gas.
• Hands-on programming experience in process optimization and APC applications.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement APC, AI/ML, and digitalization solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve process automation and optimization.
• Engage stakeholders and support users in adoption of digital technologies.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure safe deployment.
• Manage projects and vendors for timely delivery of digital solutions.
• Stay current with digitalization and optimization tech to create value.
