Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical or Automation Engineering.
• Min 5 years experience in chemical production or chemical project engineering.
• Good understanding of chemical processes and related equipment; Methionine and Intermediates preferred.
• Aptitude towards computer programs and engineering tools; familiarity with ML, APC preferred.
• Ability to manage internal and external project team members.
• Experience in project engineering and execution in related industry.
• Organizational skills to plan and schedule.
• Ability to communicate to all levels; safety and compliant procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation and reliable operations of digital technologies to optimize production processes on site in close coordination with AN's global Smart Operations group.
• Provide process and application expertise, combining process engineering with Smart Operations knowledge.
• Initiate and execute studies, projects and new developments with long term technical solutions in Smart Operations.
• Monitor Smart Operations dashboards and visualization tools to ensure performance and utilization; take corrective actions.
• Ensure training, maintenance and continuous improvement of existing Smart Operations applications.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to define scope, schedules, costs and business cases for new technologies.
• Manage projects and technical changes according to guidelines.
• Support MOC and related processes, prepare PFDs, P&IDs and documentation; handle technical changes.
• If working in Methionine plant, ensure FAMI QS requirements are met.
• Exchange information with AN sites and global Smart Operations group.
