Job summary

Avtel Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior HR Generalist APAC to balance hands-on HR operations with advisory support for leaders and employees across multiple APAC markets. The role covers payroll coordination, compliance, onboarding, and employee relations, requiring strong judgment and cross-cultural credibility.

You will partner with local managers to ensure regional consistency while respecting local practices, under the guidance of the HR leadership in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR generalist/advisory roles with APAC exposure.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance.
• Ability to coach managers and partner with leaders across multiple markets.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication.
• Fluent English; additional APAC language skills advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations across assigned APAC markets including records, HRIS data, and policy administration.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits, leave tracking, and statutory processes with local providers.
• Support employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary processes with clear documentation.
• Partner with local managers to mitigate HR risks and align with AVTEL standards.
• Support end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning across markets.
