Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre is seeking a Senior/Analyst (Training) in the Medical Informatics Office for a 2-year contract. You will support NGEMR design, implementation, and user training, focusing on clinical orders, medication administration, and documentation.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, testing, secretariat duties, and on-site user support during rollout, with on-call system support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in clinical information systems and IT project management; healthcare environment preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Analyst post.
• Epic EMR certification is an advantage.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Join our Medical Informatics Office where you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and support of the Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) system. Your responsibilities will include supporting the leads of your assigned workgroups in the following areas:

• Conducting requirements analysis, completing content build , and performing functional testing of the system


• Providing user training and coordinating with appointed IT projects/systems teams to build and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration, and documentation


• Performing secretariat work for your assigned workgroups, including coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and tracking issues and training statuses throughout the project cycle


• Extending on-site user support during implementation and taking on-call responsibilities for system application support at scheduled times to troubleshoot and track issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline


• Experience in clinical information systems, IT project management and experience in healthcare environment is preferred


• Candidates with 2 or more years of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Analyst post


• Certification in Epic Electronic Medical Record system application is an advantage


• Self-motivated and able to work independently
