Join Senoko Energy’s Digital Information Technology team and help transform manual and fragmented processes into scalable, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will work at the intersection of business and technology—redesigning processes, strengthening data foundations and supporting the delivery of digital solutions that improve decisions and enable sustainable operational excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Section, Wholesale Systems & Enterprise Platforms, you will collaborate with business user leads and DIT colleagues on digitalization projects spanning AI, data and automation. This is an individual contributor role with the opportunity to shape solutions from discovery through to production.

What You’ll Do

• Support the discovery, design and delivery of digitalization initiatives that streamline internal operations and automate processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to uncover pain points and translate them into practical, scalable technology solutions.
• Map, codify and document critical business processes to create a strong foundation for improvement.
• Help build data pipelines, internal tools and automation workflows, applying a pragmatic approach to build-versus-buy decisions.
• Evaluate third-party vendors and platforms to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and deliver the intended outcomes.
• Contribute to AI-powered initiatives, including process automation, predictive analytics and LLM-based tools where relevant.
• Promote sound engineering standards, documentation practices and solution governance across projects.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and bring forward-looking ideas to Senoko’s digitalization agenda.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4–5 years of relevant hands‑on experience in software engineering, data engineering, IT applications, analytics or a closely related field.
• Experience contributing to digitalization or transformation projects from inception through to production.
• Exposure to mid‑sized organisations, ideally involving operational or back‑office processes.
• Experience gathering requirements, identifying business needs and recommending solutions that deliver stakeholder value.
• Practical experience applying AI to solve business problems.

Essential Technical Skills

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java or TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills, including dataset manipulation, transformation and a good understanding of SQL tuning.
• Working knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling and systems integration.
• Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with APIs, automation and data platforms, preferably Databricks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience evaluating and integrating third‑party SaaS tools and enterprise systems.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer, Databricks Certified Associate, PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP or ITIL will be advantageous
