Job summary

Senoko Energy Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Digital Transformation Engineer to help turn manual, fragmented processes into scalable data-driven solutions. You will bridge business needs and technology, using AI, data and automation to improve decision-making and operations.

You will work with business stakeholders, DIT teams and vendors to deliver end-to-end digitalization projects with measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, DataEngineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, IT applications or analytics-related projects.
• Experience contributing to digitalization or transformation projects from inception to production.
• Experience with requirements gathering, identifying business needs and recommending solutions that deliver stakeholder value.
• Experience applying AI to business problems and exposure to operational or back-office processes are advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer, Databricks Certified Associate, PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP or ITIL are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support discovery, design and delivery of digitalization initiatives for internal operations, process automation and system enhancements.
• Engage business stakeholders to identify pain points and translate them into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Document and redesign critical business processes to improve efficiency, scalability and maintainability.
• Assist in building data pipelines, internal tools and automation workflows, with pragmatic build-versus-buy recommendations.
• Support AI-powered initiatives, including process automation, predictive analytics and LLM-based tools where relevant.
• Contribute to scalable technology foundations through sound data modelling, system integration and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with business users, DIT teams and vendors to deliver digitalization projects from requirements gathering through deployment and iteration.
• Assist in evaluating and managing third-party vendors and platforms to ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes.
• Maintain clear documentation, solution governance and engineering standards to reduce key-person dependency and support long-term maintainability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions that improve the way work is performed.
• Promote digital awareness and a culture of continuous process improvement across business teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digitalization, AI, Data & Process Improvements

• Support the discovery, design and delivery of digitalization initiatives for internal operations, process automation and system enhancements.


• Engage business stakeholders to identify pain points and translate them into practical, scalable technical solutions.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, DataEngineeringor a related technical discipline.


• At least 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, ITapplicationsor analytics-related projects.


• Experience contributing to digitalization or transformation projects frominceptionto production.


• Experience with requirements gathering,identifyingbusinessneedsand recommending solutions that deliver stakeholder value.


• Experience applying AI to business problems and exposure to operational or back-office processes areadvantageous.

Technical Skills

• Proficiencyin at least one modern programming language, such as Python,Javaor TypeScript.


• Strong SQL skills, including manipulation and transformation of datasets and an understanding of SQL tuning.


• Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, datamodellingand integration across systems.


• Hands-on experience with Power BI or other datavisualisationtools.


• Experience with APIs,automationand data platforms, preferably Databricks, isadvantageous.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, modern DevOps practices, SaaStoolsand enterprise systems isadvantageous.
