Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Application Developer for its Global Execution Services algo team in Singapore.

You will deliver new features, enhancements and bug fixes to the algo trading platform, participate in the full project lifecycle, and provide level 2/3 front-office support as needed. You will work with quants, traders and engineers to evolve low-latency, event-driven systems that handle large market data feeds and ensure robust execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing/developing algorithmic trading systems for equity markets.
• Hands-on experience in Java and execution space (e.g., execution algorithms, SOR).

Responsibilities

• Deliver new features, enhancements and bug fixes to the algo trading platform.
• Participate in full project life cycle including analysis, design, development and testing.
• Occasionally provide level 2 and 3 support for front-office applications.
• Ensure adherence to architectural strategy and development standards.
• Liaise with business and development teams on priorities and progress.
