Job summary

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) seeks an experienced AI Solutions Architect to lead the design, deployment, and governance of AI-enabled products and data analytics platforms. You will work across business units to translate data into actionable insights, and drive innovative AI initiatives from Generative AI to Agentic AI systems.

You will shape future-ready architectures, mentor the data community, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver measurable value in tax

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or related AI/analytics fields.
• Hands-on AI expertise with development and deployment of AI and advanced analytics solutions including big data and ML algorithms.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (must-have).
• Experience with R, Spark, Hadoop, TensorFlow, C++/C#, etc. (nice-to-have).
• Full-stack development skills (Vue, JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, Postgres, API development and integration).
• ETL, data pre-processing, data cleansing and validation.
• Applied AI skills: ML, NLP, deep learning, recommendation systems, network analytics.
• Generative AI and Agentic AI experience: familiarity with RAG architectures and agent orchestration.
• Cloud & Enterprise deployment: Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS for enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Communication excellence: strong verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI Solutions: Design and deploy scalable, cost-effective AI and data analytics solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to business stakeholders on complex AI or data issues.
• Translate data into insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Drive Innovation: Explore Generative AI, RAG, and Agentic AI techniques to advance IRAS capabilities.
• Shape AI Architecture: Define data/AI architectures and plans for mid- to long-term needs.
• Empower the Community: Mentor data analysts and IRAS data community.
