Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive/AI Software Developer for its Transport AI Programme. You will design and maintain AI‑powered applications across transport use cases, integrating LLMs and AI models into operational workflows, and ensuring production‑grade reliability.

You will work with data scientists, AI architects, and operations teams to translate AI capabilities into robust software for public officers and commuters.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 3–6 years of software development experience, AI/ML‑integrated systems.
• Proficient in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch).
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI‑powered applications across transport use cases.
• Integrate LLMs, CV models, and ML components into production workflows and APIs.
• Evaluate inference engines and optimize performance, cost, and resilience.
• Build data pipelines and microservices connecting AI capabilities to operations.
• Implement guardrails, observability, and safety practices in production.
• Collaborate with industry partners and cross‑functional teams on delivery.
