Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive Quality Engineer for Traffic & Road IT. You will ensure quality and reliability of cloud-based software solutions, focusing on AI-driven applications in an Agile environment.

The role combines hands-on testing with broader QA responsibilities, including DevOps and continuous testing. You will design scalable testing frameworks, uphold coding and cybersecurity standards, and work with stakeholders to validate requirements and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software quality assurance, testing, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Proficiency in writing test scripts in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with at least one test automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and reliability of cloud-based software solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient testing frameworks for cloud apps.
• Define coding and cybersecurity standards; conduct code/design reviews.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities across project lifecycle.
• Produce clear documentation including operation and maintenance manuals.
