Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA), Singapore, is seeking a Senior/Executive AI Software Developer to join the Transport AI Programme. You will design, build, and maintain AI-powered applications that help sense, manage, and optimise Singapore's land transport network, collaborating with data scientists and operations teams.

You will integrate LLMs, computer vision, and other AI components into production systems, ensure observability, and participate in safety exercises.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in AI/ML-integrated systems.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud-native development and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with responsible AI practices, model monitoring, and safety evaluation.
• Experience in government or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications across transport use cases including public transport operations, traffic management, and road operations.
• Integrate large language models and AI components into production software with reliability and observability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI architects, and operations teams to translate data needs into robust engineering solutions.
• Implement guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and monitoring for safe AI deployment.
