Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is pioneering AI-driven platform services within its AI Centre of Excellence (AI COE). The AI Platform Engineer will build and operate enterprise-grade AI and data platforms, delivering reusable components and scalable services.

You will own end-to-end capabilities and enable internal teams to access LLM capabilities reliably. Responsibilities include developing platform APIs in Python, integrating with model access layers, and optimizing latency and resource usage.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of software engineering experience.
• 1-2 years hands-on experience with AI or LLM-based systems.
• Proven track record building backend services in production environments.
• Experience with shared or platform-based architectures.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and service-oriented design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate AI platform services and APIs.
• Implement AI workflows including RAG pipelines and embeddings.
• Ensure production-grade reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve platform usability.
