Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of data infrastructure/platform or systems engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of distributed data systems and storage technologies.
• Experience with data pipelines tooling (Spark, Airflow, Ray, Dagster).
• Familiarity with cloud structures (AWS/GCP) and multi-account setups.
• Hands-on experience with IaC, containers, and orchestration (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in daily engineering tasks with discernment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data architecture to support AI training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and RAG workloads.
• Define and manage data tech stack; evaluate and adopt tools.
• Build automation for data transfer and backup; support data cataloging/discovery.
• Design and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines (Spark, Airflow, etc.).
• Govern IAM policy across cloud accounts and optimize data access patterns.
• Develop analytics and dashboarding capabilities to monitor platform usage and cost.
• Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to aid everyday engineering tasks.
