Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced AI software engineer to lead the design, build and production delivery of AI-enabled applications for core business lines. You will own the full SDLC, integrate LLM APIs and vector databases, and ensure secure cloud deployment with scalable CI/CD pipelines.

You should have strong Python, REST APIs, and cloud experience, plus hands-on with LLMs and frontend tech like React/TypeScript. Collaboration with AI PMs and business teams is core to the role.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end AI-powered applications and interfaces.
• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Integrate LLM APIs, vector databases and retrieval augmented generation into production apps.
• Evaluate AI models and retrieval approaches and iterate on production data.
• Own CI/CD, containerisation, observability and secure cloud deployment.
• Contribute reusable components and engineering standards to the AI platform.
• Collaborate with business teams and AI PMs and communicate progress and risks.
