Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced AI/ML lead developer to design and implement Python-based applications and scalable ML solutions for business problems.

You will build predictive models, perform time-series forecasting, develop data pipelines on Databricks, work with PySpark and SQL, and expose services via REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask or Django. Collaboration with data scientists and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience; proven track record of leading technical teams through project lifecycles.
• Strong practical experience in AI/ML development and deploying machine learning models.
• Hands-on experience with time-series forecasting and predictive analytics.
• Experience with Databricks, PySpark and SQL for data processing and analytics.
• Experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong Python programming and software development skills.
• Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD and cloud platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and AI/ML solutions.
• Build and deploy machine learning and predictive models to solve business problems.
• Perform time-series forecasting, including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation and optimisation.
• Develop data processing and ML pipelines using Databricks.
• Work with large datasets using Databricks, PySpark and SQL.
• Integrate AI/ML models into applications and business workflows.
• Develop APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise deployed AI/ML solutions.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
