Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the design and integration of an AI-driven supply chain platform. You will own end-to-end development, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients to translate business pain points into scalable technical solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with 3+ in AI/ML, expert Python, and experience with time-series forecasting, optimization, and cloud/MLOps.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in AI/ML.
• Proven track record leading technical teams through multi-phase projects.
• Expert-level Python for ML modeling and backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of Prophet, LSTMs, Transformers and OR-Tools or Gurobi.
• Experience with Databricks, data lakes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of integrated supply chain domains: forecasting, procurement, warehousing, logistics.
• Consulting mindset to articulate roadmaps to executives.
• Excellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End System Ownership—lead the development and integration of a comprehensive AI-driven supply chain platform.
• Deploy predictive models for inventory forecasting considering seasonality and lead-time variability.
• Build automated procurement systems to optimize vendor selection and PO generation.
• Develop optimization engines for routing, warehouse resource allocation, and distribution.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in code quality, architecture, and MLOps.
• Audit and redesign legacy workflows using Design Thinking to remove bottlenecks.
• Act as a technical authority in client engagements and translate business pain points into scalable requirements.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that aligns with corporate values.
