Alcon is seeking a Data Analytics & AI/ML Solutions Senior Engineer for its Smart Technology Dept. You will transform manufacturing data into actionable insights and scalable AI-driven solutions that enhance quality, productivity, and cost performance across global sites.

The role bridges manufacturing operations, process engineering, OT/IT, and advanced analytics, delivered through a CoE focused on validated, secure, and reusable AI/ML applications for global deployment.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing data analytics and AI/ML development for smart factory projects.
• Experience implementing digital transformation initiatives in GMP environments is a plus.
• Comfortable working across manufacturing sites and functions to drive data-driven improvements.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deploy data-driven solutions using manufacturing data (machine, quality, MES/SCADA) to improve performance.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models using production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain data.
• Analyze process variability and identify opportunities for optimization (OEE, yield, scrap).
• Create manufacturing intelligence frameworks and dashboards connected to real-time KPIs and alerts.
• Develop MLOps pipelines for scalable model deployment and lifecycle management.
