Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Data Analytics & AI/ML Solutions Senior Engineer to turn shopfloor data into actionable intelligence and scalable AI applications. You will bridge operations, OT/IT, and analytics to boost quality, productivity and cost performance globally.

The role focuses on developing data-driven solutions, building predictive models, and deploying MLOps pipelines while ensuring regulatory and cybersecurity compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of direct hands‑on experience manufacturing data analytics, AI/ML development.
• Experience implementing smart factory solutions / industrial digital transformation.
• GMP manufacturing environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy data‑driven solutions using manufacturing data for performance improvement.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models using production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain data.
• Analyse manufacturing process variability and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop MLOps pipelines for deployment and model lifecycle management.
• Ensure solutions comply with GxP, validation, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Design executive dashboards and operational control towers with real‑time KPIs and alerts.
