Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Data Analytics & AI/ML Solutions Senior Engineer to transform manufacturing data into actionable business intelligence and AI-driven solutions that support Lights-Out Manufacturing across global sites.

The role bridges manufacturing operations, process engineering, OT/IT, and advanced analytics to deliver scalable AI applications that enhance quality, productivity, reliability, and cost performance. Based at Tuas with global applicability.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing data analytics and AI/ML development for smart factory solutions.
• Exposure to GMP manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Based at Tuas site with transport from Boon Lay, Kranji and Outram Park MRT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy data-driven solutions using manufacturing data for performance improvement.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models using production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain data.
• Analyse process variability and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop statistical models to improve operational performance (OEE, yield, scrap reduction, throughput).
• Create manufacturing intelligence frameworks to support data-driven decisions.
• Develop MLOps pipelines for scalable deployment and model lifecycle management.
• Ensure solutions comply with GxP, validation, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements.
• Design executive dashboards and control towers connected to real-time KPIs and predictive alerts.
