Job summary

OCBC Group invites applications for the AVP, Innovation Scientist role in Singapore. This hybrid, full-time position focuses on building AI, ML, and analytics solutions to strengthen financial crime detection and compliance analytics across the bank.

You will design PoCs, scale production pipelines, validate models, and translate complex findings into clear insights for stakeholders, contributing to a future-ready compliance ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in data analytics, ML, and AI solution development.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI.
• Experience in financial crime risk surveillance or compliance analytics is highly preferred.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate PoC data analytics and AI solutions.
• Support scaling PoCs to production-grade analytics pipelines and models.
• Perform model validation, evaluation and governance compliance.
• Conduct financial crime risk surveillance using advanced analytics and AI capabilities.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and stakeholder communications.
