Job summary

ASM seeks an AI Governance Specialist within Global Digital Transformation in Singapore to lead scalable governance for AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI across the lifecycle. You will partner with data scientists, engineers, legal and privacy teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, risk assessments and auditable records, enabling responsible innovation at scale.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology Management, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Law, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, technology risk, AI governance, compliance, privacy, audit, or related risk-management functions.
Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, AI ethics, bias, fairness, transparency, explainability, accountability, human oversight, model risk management and AI lifecycle controls.
Good working knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts, including large language models, copilots, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and output governance, AI agents, orchestration, monitoring and guardrails.
Familiarity with relevant regulations, frameworks and standards such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, data protection requirements and emerging AI assurance practices.
Ability to translate complex regulatory, ethical and technical requirements into pragmatic controls, guidance and operating processes that enable innovation while managing risk.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills; fluent in English and comfortable engaging with global business, legal, technology and leadership stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with solid competencies in process definition, risk assessment, control design, documentation, reporting and continuous improvement.
Technology-savvy, curious and committed to staying current with AI, GenAI, agentic automation, data platforms, cybersecurity and digital transformation trends.
Reliable, accountable, proactive and structured, with the autonomy and drive to deliver results in a global, fast-moving and collaborative environment.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools; experience with workflow, documentation, risk register, dashboarding or collaboration tools
Experience with AI governance tooling, model inventories, risk management platforms or audit processes
Relevant professional certifications in AI governance, AI risk management, AI security, or responsible AI are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and operate scalable AI Governance processes, policies, controls and guidance.
Run AI governance workflows including risk classification, reviews, approvals and documentation standards.
Perform AI risk assessments covering fairness, privacy, cybersecurity, explainability and oversight.
Define GenAI acceptable-use guidance, data leakage prevention, human-in-the-loop review and safe experimentation.
Support governance of AI agents, autonomy and monitoring, including access controls and escalation paths.
Maintain awareness of EU/ISO standards, regulatory requirements and industry practices.
Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, legal, privacy, cybersecurity and business teams.
Maintain auditable governance records across the AI lifecycle.
