Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Staff AI Engineer to lead strategic AI initiatives across security AI capabilities. You will design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art multimodal models, engineer production-grade AI pipelines, and own critical areas such as face intelligence, liveness, OCR, and fraud-detection systems.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, risk, compliance, and engineering teams, and ensure robust AI solutions align with company strategy and scale to millions of users.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on AI/ML solutions experience in CV, multimodal learning, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow and production ML systems.
• Strong coding skills (Python) and end-to-end system design for low latency environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic AI initiatives: end-to-end design, training, and deployment of state-of-the-art models.
• Architect scalable AI pipelines for OCR, biometric matching, and risk modeling at scale.
• Own face intelligence and liveness, anti-spoofing, and robust image/video quality models.
• Build identity and trust signals using cross-modal data.
• Drive cross-team collaboration and integrate AI into large systems with stakeholders.
• Advance applied R&D in vision-LLM, multimodal learning, and AI agents.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across the team.
