Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Staff AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of core security AI capabilities at scale. You will own algorithms across multiple domains, shipping models into high‑risk, real‑time production environments.

You will guide end-to-end AI initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions while staying ahead of AI research and industry advances.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience in CV, multimodal learning, AI agents, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow and production ML systems.
• Excellent Python coding skills and system-level design for low latency, high availability.
• Demonstrated technical leadership enabling cross-team AI initiatives.
• Strong communication and leadership to influence engineering, product, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI initiatives from design to production deployment across multiple domains.
• Architect production-grade AI pipelines for OCR, biometric matching, and fraud detection.
• Own face intelligence, liveness, and anti-spoofing capabilities in real-world conditions.
• Develop identity and trust signals using user behavior and cross-modal indicators.
• Collaborate with backend, product, infrastructure, risk, and compliance teams to integrate AI into large-scale systems.
• Drive applied R&D in vision-LLM, multimodal learning, and AI agents; stay current with advances.
