Job summary

Apple is seeking a Data Solutions Software Engineer to join AI & Data Platforms (AiDP) within IS&T. You will build scalable, cloud-based data systems that power data exploration, analytics, reporting and production models, while integrating open source software with Apple’s internal ecosystem.

You will design and develop components from concept to release, collaborate with internal customers to understand workflows, and apply skills in Python/Scala/Java, SQL optimization, and cloud data

Qualifications

• Experience with BI concepts on cloud data platforms.
• Proficient in Python, Scala or Java for software development.
• Experience in developing highly optimized SQLs and semantic processing for distributed data applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, cloud-based data solutions by integrating open source software with Apple’s internal ecosystem.
• Drive development of new components and features from concept to release: design, build, test, and ship at a regular cadence.
• Work closely with internal customers to understand requirements and workflows, proposing features to streamline usage of the platform.
