Job summary

ByteDance Singapore is seeking a security engineer to strengthen overseas cloud products and infrastructure, performing security assessments and penetration tests on new releases.

You will continuously reduce risks across infrastructure, drive vulnerability management, and explore new attack/defense techniques, including AI-assisted approaches, with a strong ethics-driven, long-term security mindset.

Qualifications

• Familiar with risks, principles, attack/defense strategies, and governance.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Golang, Python, Java, or NodeJS.
• In-depth knowledge in AI security, DevSecOps, big data, networking, virtualization, or zero trust.
• Ethics and long-term development interest in security.

Responsibilities

• Security construction of ByteDance's overseas cloud products and infrastructure, including security assessments and penetration testing.
• Reduce operational, configuration, and exposure risks through vulnerability management and governance initiatives.
• Research new attack and defense technologies, including AI-assisted methods to improve security.
