Job summary

Singapore Airlines Limited is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to design and implement security automation workflows that improve efficiency and scale across engineering and operations. You will leverage Generative AI to support automation and decision-making in multiple Information Security domains.

You will develop and integrate cloud-native security controls aligned with enterprise architecture and governance, and contribute to DevSecOps practices while collaborating with offshore development

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Scripting and automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Hands-on cloud platform experience with cloud-native security controls.
• Familiarity with Generative AI in security contexts.
• Experience leading security tool deployments and RFQs.
• DevSecOps experience with offshore teams is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security automation workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across engineering and operations.
• Leverage Generative AI to support automation, accelerate decision-making, and improve outcomes across multiple Information Security domains.
• Develop and integrate cloud-native security controls, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance, and operational requirements.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices and collaborate with offshore development teams to support secure development environments.
• Lead end-to-end deployment of security tools, including requirement gathering, RFQ development, vendor evaluation, proof-of-concept (POC), implementation, and handover.
• Maintain and enhance cybersecurity toolsets through regular tuning, upgrades, and lifecycle refresh planning.
• Support ad-hoc assignments as required by the Cyber Engineering or wider Information Security team.
