Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace Systems in Singapore's East region seeks a Senior Technician (Machinist) to join the Landing Gear Department within the Operations Division. This role focuses on precision machining and maintenance of aerospace components in a world‑class environment.

You will interpret engineering drawings, operate CNC and conventional machines, lead and train technicians, monitor tooling and quality, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues while upholding safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must have proven machinist experience in aerospace or precision engineering.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience leading and training technicians is preferred.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision machining using conventional and CNC tools per specs.
• Set up machines and optimize processes for aerospace components.
• Interpret drawings, monitor quality and document results.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve issues.
