Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace Systems Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and operational functionality of aircraft hydraulic systems. You will use expert technical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure mechanical equipment meets safety standards and to diagnose and fix issues.

You will lead and mentor technicians, work with engineering and QA teams, and document activities to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Technology, or a closely related field.
• Experience in aerospace environment with complex mechanical systems would be advantageous.
• Strong competence with diagnostic tools and maintenance technology used within aerospace maintenance operations.
• HSE awareness and training pertinent to aerospace workflows.

Responsibilities

• Undertake complex mechanical maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs on aerospace machinery and systems, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and sharing technical expertise to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and operational teams to optimise maintenance protocols and to support ongoing engineering projects.
• Analyse technical data and documentation to recommend improvements in mechanical systems or maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using company internal reporting systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and safety standards within the department.

About the Role

As a Senior Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance, repair, and operational functionality of aircraft hydraulic systems. You will utilise your expert technical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure that all mechanical equipment and components meet stringent industry standards and safety requirements. This position requires proactive problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions, thereby contributing directly to the reliability and safety of aerospace operations.

Qualifications and Experience
