SNAPFIND TALENT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled actuarial professional to support modelling, pricing, and regulatory work across APAC markets.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and finance teams to translate complex actuarial insights into actionable business requirements. The role emphasizes moving from spreadsheet-heavy workflows to scalable, code-based models using Python or R, with IFRS 17 and RBC experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of actuarial/analytical experience in life, health, or investment-linked insurance products.
• Pursuing or holding an actuarial designation (ASA, FSA, AIA, FIA, or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with IFRS 17 concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and dashboard design.

Responsabilités

• Support Head of Actuarial in development and maintenance of actuarial models for APAC markets.
• Conduct experience studies and assumption reviews for mortality, morbidity, persistency, and expenses.
• Assist in product pricing via rate tables, illustrations, and premium calculations.
• Prepare reserve calculations and liability valuations for IFRS 17, RBC, and other frameworks.
• Build, test, and document models in Python or R; move toward code-based workflows.
• Support actuarial opinions, certification letters, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather actuarial and business requirements for platform features.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze data and monitor key metrics with dashboards and scenario modelling.
• Assist clients in understanding outputs and pricing rationale.
