Job summary

LEE QUAN (WOODLANDS) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end closings, financial reporting, and GST compliance. You will coordinate with departments and support internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least a Diploma in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of relevant experience. ACCA/CA is preferred, with strong Excel and SFRS/GST knowledge and leadership of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• ACCA/CA qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including month-end closing activities and preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely billing, collections, and payment processing.
• Reconcile bank statements, post journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting for GST filing and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper accounting for all transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting regulations, and best practices.
